Memoirs

Murray Hudson farmed 12 years in the west Tennessee Delta.  I asked Murray to write his stories to help convince the farmers in my Iowa Farm Writing Workshop that they could do the same.

Jack Hudson, Murray’s father, wrote his account of farming and community life in the days when blacks and poor whites formed one community.

Grandmaster Steve Abbate’s semi-fictional account of his Vietnam War experiences read like a fast-moving train. Extremely well written.
