The Free River Press mission has been to create a collective autobiography of America. Our books were developed in writing workshops across the country, written by men and women without literary ambition. The writers and their stories have been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and “Morning Edition,” and on “CBS Sunday Morning.” We have one large-scale anthology, American Mosaic, published by Oxford University Press, and have another in the works, with stories focusing on the American West.
